The Girl who vanished in Reality

Everytime I looked at people, they all seem mysterious. They have their own doubts, own thoughts and even their own stories which cannot be retold to anyone but themselves. As a writer, every people I can see is like a thousand of thirsty words wanted to be connected to make a story. A story that everyone will remember. Every person has plots written on their forehead. It’s up to you if you want to write about them or just dream their stories and let them vanish in your imagination.

Hopeless Reality

“When did you felt the reality? How does it hurt you? Is it bad? Or is it really bad?”

Close your eyes and just imagine this scene.

You’re sitting alone in your favorite spot in a café. Reading your favorite book. You can smell already the coffee you ordered to the waitress. You looked at her, she’s an average girl. Just like you. But her eyes seems so bright. Those blue eyes that seems so shiny.. Like a night full of stars. Like a day with cloudy sky.

She stared back at you and looked away. You continued reading your book when suddenly you heard the bells rang from the door. Which means there’s another customer aside you. You didn’t mind the new customer not until you smelled the familiar smell. The tears started to form in your eyes. Tried to not looked at the customer but failed. You saw his eyes staring at you. Too icy. Too cold.

You smiled and he didn’t. You like him but he didn’t. You’re too average, he’s not. And he’s out of your league. You can ‘t reach him. He’s a star. You are just a normal girl pretending to be the sky.  That’s what his eyes tells you.

You looked once again and this time he’s not looking at you. He’s looking at the girl who brought your coffee. She’s an average normal girl. Like you. But the difference is, you can’t make his eyes like hers. Like a night full of stars. Like a day with cloudy sky.

Now, you closed your favorite book. Like how you closed the fantasy. The dream. The wish. The hopes. Because you know there’s a reality chasing after you. And so you ran.
